Milestones

Informatics was one of Bakrie University’s five pioneering undergraduate programs.
The program joined Bakrie University collaborative track with Central Queensland University, opening an international undergraduate pathway that includes Informatics.
The Informatics Program earned “Baik Sekali” accreditation from LAM-INFOKOM (Decree No. 176/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/Ak/S/XII/2023), valid until 2028.
The Informatics & Creative Hub was officially launched in collaboration with VIVA, providing a creative-tech lab for projects and content production.
The Faculty of Computing at UTM and Informatics signed an LoI during APTIKOM.
An Informatics student achieved a Top-10 ranking in the Red Hat Academy Indonesia Challenge, highlighting student competitiveness in cloud and open-source skills.
Bakrie University, through Informatics, represented Indonesia at the APRU Generative-AI Foresight Workshop hosted by HKUST in Hong Kong, joining 40+ global experts.
Through APTIKOM Goes to Taiwan 2025, the program signed MoUs with five leading universities, Kainan, Tatung, NCUE, Soochow, and NTNU, expanding student exchange and joint research opportunities.
Head of Program, Dr. Iwan Adhicandra, served as Organizing Committee General Chair for IEEE COMNETSAT 2025, strengthening Bakrie University international academic leadership.
